Acne Treatment

Acne can sometimes result in permanent scarring if left untreated. Early assessment and treatment may reduce the risk of long-term scarring. For patients with moderate to severe acne, acne scarring, or acne that has failed to respond to conventional treatments, isotretinoin (Roaccutane/Accutane) may be considered. This treatment requires careful assessment, monitoring and follow-up throughout the course of treatment.
